Tuesday!

Well today was just another Tuesday except that Harper's sitter is gone to church camp this week so Harper spent the day with her Granny and Papa while I worked.

As all kids do when they're with their grandparents, she was in charge. Her Papa sent me a couple different pictures and a video through out the day and she had a blast.

After I picked her up we rode to Memphis to meet up with Lesli and our Abbey Girl at Target. Harper and Abbey had a good time sharing a basket and snack and after an hour it was time to go home, except Harper didn't want to go home. For the 45 minute drive in the car I heard, 'No Mommy. I want to go Abbey home'. She'll get to see Abbey in a few days though when she goes to Grandmama and Grandaddy's to spend the weekend while Wesley and I take the Boys to Heber Springs for the weekend to celebrate Logan's birthday! I can't believe he will be 8! He's growing up into such a good kid and we are so proud of him!!

Camp Out!

So Logan spent the night with his Granny and Papa last night. Since Cameron was going to be alone in his room he asked Harper to camp out with him. He made a pallet on the floor with his sleeping bag and Harper snuggled up in his bed with her blanket and pillow pet. I asked Cameron this morning how the camp out was and he said, 'Good. Harper went to sleep in my bed but when I woke up she was in my sleeping bag with me!' I guess some little girl needed her big brother during the night. ;)

It's been a long time...

It's been a long time since I posted anything but that is about to change! In one month my Sweet Baby Girl will be 2 and I want to record as much of 'her' as I can. I want her to look back on this one day and know how much her Daddy and I loved her and her brothers. :o)

So it seems as if Fall is in the air...UGH. I'm not ready for it. I love Summer! Time spent on the water and outside with my family. That is my favorite time of the year. I know it will warm back up though, at least for a little while longer and we will make the most of it. Once Summer does say good bye though we'll move on to Bon Fires and Marshmellows, then before we know it Stockings and Candy Canes. Life goes by so fast! This wonderful crazy life!

Dear Harper,

You are 13 months old as of yesterday and today while you were taking your nap Daddy wanted me to go get you out of bed so you could listen to this song with him. Baby Girl you are the apple of his eye and he loves you so much. You will look back on all of this one day and when you do I want you to know how important you are to him. Just this week you woke up in the middle of the night crying and he went in your room just to make sure you had you paci, he was supposed to give it to you and lay you back down. Well he comes back into our room holding you and puts you in bed with us and you curled up in his arm, which is your favorite spot at night. It always makes him smile when push me away at night to snuggle with him. I love you Sweet Baby Girl.

Just Fishin' Trace Adkins

I’m lost in her there holdin’ that pink rod and reel
She’s doin’ almost everything but sittin’ still
Talkin’ ‘bout her ballet shoes and training wheels
And her kittens
And she thinks we’re just fishin’

I say, “Daddy loves you, baby” one more time
She says, “I know. I think I got a bite.”
And all this laughin’, cryin, smilin’ dyin’ here inside’s
What I call, livin’

And she thinks we’re just fishin’ on the riverside
Throwin’ back what we could fry
Drownin’ worms and killin’ time
Nothin’ too ambitious
She ain’t even thinkin’ ‘bout
What’s really goin’ on right now
But I guarantee this memory’s a big’in
And she thinks we’re just fishin’

She’s already pretty, like her mama is
Gonna drive the boys all crazy
Give her daddy fits
And I better do this every chance I get
‘Cause time is tickin’
(Yeah it is)

And she thinks we’re just fishin’ on the riverside
Throwin’ back what we could fry
Drownin’ worms and killin’ time
Nothin’ too ambitious
She ain’t even thinkin’ ‘bout
What’s really goin’ on right now
But I guarantee this memory’s a big’in
And she thinks we’re just fishin’

She ain’t even thinkin’ ‘bout
What’s really goin’ on right now
But I guarantee this memory’s a big’in
And she thinks we’re just fishin’
Yeah, aww, she thinks we’re just fishin’
We ain’t only fishin’
(This ain’t about fishin’)

Just a Sunday Afternoon at the River!

Here's some pictures of our Sweet Baby Girl and her Brothers hanging out at the River! She LOVES the sand and water and of course the Boys are always out for the adventure riding the tube and swimming.

Exploring...

I LOVE her hands behind her back!

I'm not scared! And he wasn't!

Brothers!

Loving it!

I love his tongue sticking out!
